Primary Research Interests

  • Perovskites & Quantum Dots: Investigating metal-halide perovskite nanocrystals, single crystals, low-dimensional perovskite analogues, and inorganic metal-chalcogenide quantum dots.

  • Optoelectronic Devices: Developing high-efficiency active materials for light-emitting diodes (LEDs), solar cells, and photodetectors.

  • Photophysics & Spectroscopy: Studying the optical properties, charge carrier dynamics, and light-matter interactions of solution-processed nanomaterials.

  • Computational Modeling (DFT): Using Density Functional Theory to study crystal structures, stability, and electronic properties.

  • Advanced Sensors & Bioimaging: Designing innovative nanomaterials for biomedical imaging and ecological monitoring.

  • Photocatalysis: Designing high-efficiency hybrid catalyst systems to resolve the stability and charge recombination bottlenecks that limit photocatalytic efficiency.
